This prayer is my desire for my blog, both in my posts and comments.  I haven't always managed this in the past, but it is truly my aim.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen. ~St Francis of Assisi

However, if someone is just stirring up strife for the sake of it, making everyone miserable in the process, then I will tut loudly at the computer screen and delete.  I reckon this is the electronic way of shaking the dust off my feet and moving on, I'm sure even St Francis would agree. :)

If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. - Matthew 10:14
