Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods:

  • Max. Day (°C°F)
    12°C 54°F
    Sunrise 06:30
  • Min. Mon Night (°C°F)
    7°C 45°F
    Sunset 19:51

Many parts will have a wet and windy morning with the odd heavier burst of rain over Cumbria and the higher parts of the Pennines. Things should become a bit drier and brighter this afternoon.

Monday night

Staying cloudy and windy with perhaps the odd spot of light rain or drizzle over the hills and around the coast. It will be a mild night.

Things that make me happy:

Book I'm reading:

Red Dwarf: Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers

For the millionth time!

What I'm enjoying on TV:

A Touch of Frost - it's the last ever! :(

On the menu for dinner:

Eating out at the MIL and FIL's

On my To Do List:

Get dressed!! (It's bank holiday Monday here and I'm still in my jammies)

Looking forward to this week:

Getting some Spring cleaning done - God willing!

Tips and Tricks:

If you have a small freezer maximise space by removing products from their boxes. For example pizzas usually are in a plastic wrapping inside the box. Remove the box and put the pizza in the freezer in it's plastic wrap. If you need the cooking instructions cut them out first and sellotape to the plastic wrap. For those products that aren't inside a plastic wrap in the box remove the box and put the product (if you can) in a freezer bag.

My favourite blog post this week:

Unconventional Quiet Times - from a new-to-me blog 'Going Beyond Ministries'

Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):

No words needed (favourite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):

Lesson learned the past few days:

That we can so often mistake our own emotions and feelings for the Holy Spirit, but we must be sure that it is God speaking to us before we decide that something is of God. Pray, pray, pray first.

On my mind:

My stomach! Lol, when I feel ill I can obsess too much. I need to trust things into God's hands.

My Granddad - he's poorly and I love him so much.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land. About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Matthew 27:45-46
